1. Zebra Crossing Stripes

In some parts of the world, a zebra crossing (or crosswalk) is used as a pedestrian crossing. A distinctive feature is that pedestrians are given priority, and motorists are required to stop if someone has indicated their intention to cross by waiting at the crossing.

Originally developed in the UK in the 1930s, these were used for road safety, and were marked by two poles, each holding a flashing orange light, known as Belisha beacons. From the 1940s onward, light and dark stripes were added to the road surface to distinguish the crossing style. The stripes of a zebra’s coat inspired the common crossing used today.

Many countries have adopted striped road markings for pedestrian crossings to serve this purpose, although not all have pedestrian priority rules, and not all call them “zebra crossings.” Another popular name for them is crosswalk. Our focus is the stripes which are usually 52 feet long.

2. Yakovlev Yak-52

It was the first Soviet primary trainer aircraft to fly in 1976. Aerostar produced it from 1977 to 1998 as Iak-52 under an agreement with the former COMECON socialist trade organization.

Having long pectoral fins and a knobbly head, the humpback whale has a distinctive body shape. It is popular with whale watchers because of its breaching and other distinctive surface behaviors.

It is common for males to produce a complex song lasting 10 to 20 minutes, which they repeat for hours at a time. A group of males will sing the same song, which varies according to the season. Although it may cause females to go into estrus, its purpose remains unclear.

Because of extreme weather conditions in the Himalayan region, the park is only open for six months a year (between April and November). It is located along the banks of the Alaknanda River along the Garhwal hill tracks in Chamoli district of India. It has recorded 1,060,000 visits and is one of the most visited pilgrimage centers in the country. The temple is exactly 52 feet long.

There are some folding card tables with fabric surfaces such as felt for specialist games like contract bridge, Mahjong, or poker. Specifically designed for playing cards, UK card tables have a green baize surface and foldaway leaves or legs. A card table is built to span a length of 52 feet.
